      Blueridge BR143A

See The Video! This is a wonderful finger picking guitar! The wide Adirondack grain is beautiful and responsive. I have this piece set up 5/64 at the 12th fret {Medium Height}. I can't get over the lows this particular piece produces. Much richer then most 000's that come through the shop. Please give me a call, 970-641-2747. Castle Creek Guitars.

      Blueridge BR160A

Beautiful Solid Adirondack Spruce Top! This is a very large and responsive sounding guitar, sounds awesome now but will improve with age. Great flat picking, strumming instrument but versatile enough for lighter touch finger style play. Action is set 5/64 at the 12th fret {Medium Height}. I can lower the action a bit if you prefer. Nicest sounding Adirondak top in the shop!

      Deering "Goodtime Special" Banjo

The newly Patented Goodtime Special Tone Ring designed by Deering produces a powerfully crisp, bright, sparkling tone, a considerable step up in tone from the original tone ring that was featured on our Goodtime Special banjos. The volume of tone is a wonderful surprise to players. If you're looking for a banjo with good volume and tone, and prefer to keep the cost as low as possible, then this is the banjo for you. This banjo will perform well in a jam session or band setting, feel comfortable, fret correctly, and be a stable instrument you can play for years to come.

      Deering "Goodtime Two" Banjo

A resonator back provides more projection of sound in the Goodtime Two. We make it here in the USA, at the Deering shop with the same tooling we use to make the top of the line banjos. Greg Deering designed the Goodtime banjos because there were no low priced banjos of enough quality for people to actually learn on without difficulty or giving up. He remembers what it was like to want a good banjo and not be able to afford one, so his gift to others is the Goodtime banjo line. Designed for success, the Goodtime banjos are the lowest priced American made banjos. They are so good many professionals have recorded with Goodtime banjos. The Goodtime Two weighs 6 lbs - about the weight of a guitar. The Goodtime Two has a natural blonde maple with a satin finish to protect it. The rich, golden tone and the reverberation off the resonator sound great. You can definitely tell a volume deference between open back and a Goodtime Two. The sound waves aren't getting trapped between you and the banjo, which makes a pretty big diference. If you want a great low priced bluegrass banjo for travel and leisure that plays correctly and is durable, this is the best buy on the market!

The Goodtime openback banjo weighs only 4 pounds so it is ideal for traveling, camping, hiking, or taking to the beach. It provides a vibrant singing banjo tone. The Goodtime banjo is light enough for children to hold and play and is the perfect banjo for a child to start out with. More people succeed in learning to play when they start out on a Goodtime banjo. Teachers and professionals around the world recommend the Goodtime banjo!
